Domestic Shipping:
UPS does not guarantee times of delivery to residential addresses. Please note that these are regular business days.
Air and ground shipments are business days only and not weekends or holidays. Weekend delivery days are valid for Next Day Air Saturday delivery only. If you would like to request a Saturday delivery, please state this in the "comments" section when you place your order.
Every item shipped out of our warehouse is shipped fully insured. Once your items are shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. You may login to your account at any time to view your orders and track your packages.
ViaVeneto.net ships Monday through Friday only.
Orders shipped out via UPS do not officially require a signature for delivery. If no one is home to receive the package, your local UPS driver may leave the item at your doorstep area or the driver may hold onto the package for a second delivery attempt. If you know in advance that you will not be home to personally receive the package, you may leave a signed note for the UPS driver to make alternative arrangements.
International Shipments
All international deliveries usually take about a week to be received, but this may take longer depending on the location of the customer. All Canada and overseas shipments are sent via the Postal Service. Please note that we do not provide overnight overseas shipments. Via Veneto.net will not be held responsible for any Duties or International Customs fees, or any other fees charged by the foreign country, foreign postal service, or any other entity related to the delivery of such package, that may be charged to our customers upon receiving their shipment. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Claims
All claims for broken or defective merchandise must be made within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. An order may not be cancelled or returned after it has been shipped, unless broken, damaged, or defective.
Broken or Damaged Merchandise:
If the merchandise was shipped by United Parcel Service, it is the buyers responsibility to call the local UPS office, or contact UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877). If item was shipped USPS Priority Mail, please contact your local post office. Please also contact us at claims@viaveneto.net All original packing materials must be kept even if there is no apparent damage to the shipping carton. Merchandise will be replaced if possible. If no replacement is available, a credit or refund will be issued to the buyer.
Defective Merchandise:
After you have contacted Via Veneto of any damage or defect, the item may be returned to the location from which it was shipped. All returns must be insured for the total amount of merchandise. Defective items will be replaced if available and return-shipping charges will be credited to your account.
No Replacement or Credit will be given under the following conditions:
The request is made after 10 days from the receipt date.
The item is returned without an outer carton. (Any item must be shipped in its original box, inside a larger box for protection).
The item is returned without the original box.
The item or box has been marked by writing or improper handling.
For UPS damaged merchandise, you have not kept the original shipping carton for the UPS inspector. .
